Rapper Pilla B Exudes a Winners Mentality on New Single “Coach P”

Today, rapper Pilla B releases his new single “Coach P” produced by Darius King and DJ Gio. Coach P marks the first single off his forthcoming project  “Interstellar” executive produced by Blocktrade Music. Pilla B has been building momentum for his highly anticipated upcoming project by releasing a slew of freestyle videos creatively named #Roadtointerstellar. This first single ‘Coach P’ highlights Pilla’s progression as an individual as seen through the leadership displayed while mentoring youth through sport.  The coined term ‘Coach P’ is an identity rooted in community representing the core of a renewed mindstate.  On the inspiration behind “Coach P” Pilla B tells us: “It is meant to show that my mind is transitioning from the block mentality to the mentality that I need to have to be successful. When people found out I was coaching youth ball, it was a joke of some sort, so we ran with it. Shout out to the Mississauga city kings and everyone that helped my coaching dreams come true”- Pilla B
